Lace on Lace

When I got this top, I only had one look in mind, and that included a pair high waisted jeans, in any colour... but browsing my closet, 

I came across this skirt from oh so many years ago and I love how the lace, the patterns and the colours compliment each other, 

so this "peplum dress" like outfit was born...

As for my hair, I wanted to try something a little different. I usually braid my hair anyway, so this time for a bit of a fresh look, 

I did a double braid which turned into one when they met...

Knotted T and Fringe Skirt

I love this fringed, lace up mini skirt. Its perfect for summer and even better for a festival look... Just through on some
Hunter Boots or lace up sandals, your favourite band T ( or a vintage one) and head to that festival. Or though on a blazer,
{like I did} and its ready for business.


I kept my look simple in black and white, but knotted my otherwise casual, basic T to a crop top and added the gold accessories.
I love the peek-a-boo of the Jennifer Zeuner Rayna Eye Lariat Necklace from right under the knot.

Also a big hello to the gold old Alexander Wang Caroline Booties who've been silent in my closet for way too long.
I still love these beauties.
